PRINCE HARRY AND AMERICAN ACTRESS, MEGHAN MARKLE ANNOUNCE THEIR ENGAGEMENT

Prince Harry and American actress, Meghan Markle are finally engaged! Kensington Palace, announced the good news this morning.

Prince Harry is fifth in line to the throne and reportedly got engaged to Meghan Markle, earlier this month. The wedding will reportedly take place in the Spring of 2018 and they will live at Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace, in London.

Prince Charles, Prince Harry`s father made the announcement, saying that, Prince Harry had also informed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family.

The couple started dating, last summer. Prince Charles is said to be quite thrilled with Prince Harry`s proposal and happily disclosed on Twitter that, Meghan Markle`s parents have graciously given Harry,  their consent.

Prince Charles added that, only the queen and certain members of the family knew about the engagement which took place in London, earlier this month.

The engaged couple will be available for photographs outside Kensington Palace this afternoon and will take part in a broadcast interview, in the evening.

Ms Markle’s parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, said their daughter was a “kind and loving person” and they were “incredibly happy”.

They added:

“To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents.”

Asked by a reporter when he knew Suits star Ms Markle “was the one”, Prince Harry said: “The very first time we met”.

“The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh said they were “delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.”

Kensington Palace said Ms Markle’s engagement ring was designed by Prince Harry and features two diamonds which belonged to his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

At the center of the ring is a diamond from Botswana, a country the couple has spent time together over the last year and a half. The band is made of gold.

CHRIS BRANDT, 28, CAIT EARNEST, 28 AND CHRIS`S HUSBAND, MATT BRANDT, 38, ARE A THRUPLE

Married couple, Chris and Matt Brandt, decided to explore an open relationship after 8 years together. Chris finally met 28 year old Cait on a 2015 dating app and the trio decided to embark on a Thruple.

They decided to invite Cait Earnest into their marriage, knowing that several problems  could possibly begin to creep into their 8 year relationship, should either one of the three decide to change the dynamic of their new relationship which has become a  – Thruple.

THEY SHARE THE SAME HOUSEHOLD, THE SAME BED AND THE SAME PETS

The trio all share the same household, sleep in the same bed , share two adorable pets and plan to have children with Cait.

Chris and Cait developed very strong feelings for one another after meeting one another on the dating app, back in 2015. Matt worked that dilemma out with Chris, by suggesting that they invite Cait to join their marriage as a girlfriend to both of them.

Chris explained that Matt had never been in a relationship with a woman.

He said:

“Matthew had never had any experience with women before he’d met me. And before I met Matthew I had dated quite a few girls and quite a few guys”.

“I suggested to Matt, ‘How would you feel about involving a woman in some fashion?”

“At first he was completely opposed to the idea but after a while we talked about it and he warmed up to the idea.”

AFTER EIGHT YEARS OF MARRIAGE, CHRIS HAD A BRILLIANT IDEA: THE INTRODUCTION OF A WOMAN, INTO THEIR UNION

Eventually, all 3 of them, fell madly in loved with one another and their Thruple relationship proceeded full speed. They were so much in love, all 3 of them became  inseparable.

THE THRUPLE, CONSTANTLY SHOWERS ONE ANOTHER WITH GIFTS THAT EXPRESS THEIR LOVE

Chris continued:

“I suggested to Matt, ‘How would you feel about involving a woman in some fashion?’At first he was completely opposed to the idea but after a while we talked about it and he warmed up to the idea”.

“The three of us started to spend more and more time together and after about seven or eight months she was staying over five nights a week”.

In light of the decision all three of them have made to stay together. Cait prefers to be quite candid with people concerning the dynamic of their relationship.

Cait said:

“When we meet somebody at a bar I will usually say, ‘Hi, I’m Cait and these are my two boyfriends. People often ask if I’m joking”.

Although things are usually plain sailing, the thruple’s relationship throws up some curve balls too – including ‘bed placing’.

Chris said:

“In regards to bed placing, it does complicate things. Matthew and I used to sleep on opposite sides and then Cait came long.

CAIT ASSERTED HER PRESENCE BY CHANGING THEIR SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

“If I wanted to stay on the same side Cait would have to be in the middle and we found quickly she didn’t like that”.

Cait, for the fist time in her adult life, was suddenly introduced to sex with more than one partner, after she met Matt and Chris.

She said:

“I had never been with two people at the same time before. It’s different strokes for different folks but I would say it’s a pretty fun sex life”.

Nine months into their relationship with Cait, Matt and Chris tied the knot but they made sure Cait was right there with them.

Matt said:

“Even when we got married Cait officiated the wedding, we wanted to make her the most involved as she possibly could be.”

While Chris and Cait are both bisexual, Matt identifies as homoflexible.

CHRIS AND CAIT ARE BISEXUAL, WHILE MATT BRANDT SAID, HE IS HOMOFLEXIBLE

Matt added:

“I’m homoflexible so I like guys and I’m open, flexible to women – I prefer men.

“I guess I had an awakening after I had a sexual experience with a woman. It is just another body, another soul, a connection that I can have”.

Although the trio is content now, they have all struggled with jealousy at one point in the relationship.

Cait said:

“When we first got together I was struggling with jealousy.

“With having a very strong connection with Chris and sometimes feeling frustrated that I would have to split time with Matt” “But with a lot of that came a lot of insecurity, because I didn’t know where my place was in the relationship”.

Matt disclosed the fact that he was mindlessly jealous of the connection between Cait and Chris, at a certain point in their relationship.

He said: “It was a struggle even for me. The insecure part of me was like, ‘Chris loves me more because he’s been with me longer’, but then he told me ‘I love you just as much as I love Cait, so I was like, ‘I need to come to terms with that’.”

With the three of them in the relationship, no-one in the thruple is ever wanting for attention, but Matt says there’s one particular highlight – the gifts!

He said: “One of the best things about being in a thruple is that you get more gifts. Holidays, birthdays, we like to celebrate everything!”

Now that they have been living together for two years, the thruple are even discussing future children.

“As far as kids, I think any child would be lucky to have three parents but we have twodogs for now and that’s enough”.

Fashion`s nonconformist and designer to the stars – Azzadine Alaia is dead at age 77. The diminutive designer died at his home in Paris, France on Saturday, announced the French Haute Couture Federation.

On February 26th, 1940, Azzedine Alaia was born onto a wheat farming family in Tunis, Tunisia. His parents had no interest in fashion but his twin sister began to nurture and encourage a talent she recognized in her brother and helped him gain admission into the local Eco des Beaux- Arts in Tunis.

He began studying the human form and sculpture and later moved to Paris in 1957. In Paris, he started working as a dressmaker`s assistant and then moved on to work for Guy Laroche, Thierry Mugler and Christian Dior.

In the 1970s, he opened his own shop and began dressing very wealthy women such as the Mitterands, Picassos, Marie-Helene de Rothschild, Louise de Vilmorin and his close friend – Greta Garbo.

Azzadine was well known for his form fitting designs and became globally recognized as the “King Of Cling” during the 1980s, 1990s and the better part of his career.

Alaia was the only notable designer who had no qualms about focusing on few private showings while his peers would consistently compete for best exhibit of their work, during the French and Italian capital`s seasonal fashion frenzy.

Kurtley Beale, the Quantas Wallabies`fullback, got an opportunity to take a photograph with Prince William and he practically jumped at it!

The Australian Wallabies, defeated Wales – 29-21,  in an intoxicating game, on Saturday. Celebrities are usually invited to go in the locker room for photo ops and an opportunity  to congratulate the team.

JOURNALIST AND GOSSIP COLUMNIST EXTRAORDINAIRE – LIZ SMITH

Journalist and longtime gossip columnist, Liz Smith,  died of natural causes at the age of 94, her longtime friend and literary agent, Joni Evans, told the Associated Press.

Liz was so good at what she did that, she gained her own celebrity status among the A-List stars of yesteryear and today.

She became known as the Grand Dame of Dish, due to her ability to get information, straight from the celebrities themselves and the fact that her more than half a century old gossip column was sought after and read by many people, all over the world.

Liz Smith was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Ed Beeman, a rancher, at 21 and later divorced him, when she decided to pursue her dream of living and working in show business. She later again married and divorced travel agent, Fred Lister.

She graduated from University of Texas with a degree in Journalism.

By 1949, Liz bought a two way ticket and moved to New York City, with two suitcases, a dream and $50.00, in her pocket.

She has lived in various run down apartments and worked at jobs that barely paid the rent, as she struggled to establish her career, in New York.

She managed to work as a producer at CBS Radio, for Media giants such as Mike Wallace, before moving on to the New York Daily News in 1976, where she established her global career as a gossip columnist, until 1991.

Her column for The Daily News ran from 1991 to 1995. Then she moved on to Newsday until 2005. At this time, she also wrote for the New York Post from 1995 to 2009.

Liz stuck with technology and moved to the New York Social Register, where her gossip column was syndicated in 70 other newspapers, for several years.

She wrote magazine articles, books, appeared on E News Entertainment Television, TV Programs and earned more than a $1 million a year, which exceeded the earning ability executive editors or that of any of her of peers.

She was close to then real estate mogul, Donald Trump and his former wife and mother of his three children, Ivana Trump.

Liz, covered their 1990 divorce proceedings for over 3 months. She was very close to Ivana Trump and had said this about the Trump divorce saga:

“Ivana still wants to be his wife but the bottom line is, she will not give up her self  respect, just to remain Donald Trump`s wife.” Intimate friends have said,she had every chance to continue being Mrs. Trump as long as she was willing to let Donald Trump live with her, in an open marriage.”

When she released that information, Donald Trump was furious and decided to offer to buy the New York Times, simply because, he wanted to fire Liz Smith.

Liz became very close friends with Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Ginger Rogers, Fred Astire,  Tallulah Bankhead, Lana Turner, Loretta Young, Clark Gable, Shirley Maclaine, Marlon Brando, Truman Capote, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor and Madonna, just  to mention a few.

When disclosing how she constantly gained access to stars that her peers could only observe from afar, Liz said:

“I could get to people that nobody else could get to. I met lots of interesting people coming up, and they stayed friends with me when they made it big.”

She said, her parents were poor but had devised a way to send her to school with the rich kids. Her parents borrowed money and her father was a heavy gambler, who was also a preacher. She had learned to live in a world where she felt like a complete impostor.

“My friendship with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton really helped make my career. It didn’t do them any harm, either.”

Liz Smith`s friendship with Elizabeth Taylor became stronger when she accompanied the Burtons to Europe.

“In the ’60s, she became completely distant from what was happening in Hollywood; she made all these crazy European movies and avoided the American press.” “They trusted me and eventually I became the only journalist who could get to them.”

This is what Liz Smith said about Elizabeth Taylor:

“I loved Elizabeth. She was just snarky and funny and crazy. Selfish and tremendously generous at the same time. But Burton liked me better than she did. She was threatened by any woman, but he knew better.”

JELANI MARAJ, HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF THE FIRST DEGREE RAPE OF A 12 YEAR OLD CHILD 

Nicki Minaj`s brother, Jelani Maraj, has been convicted of rape in the first degree. Maraj was accused of  repeatedly raping his 11 year old step- daughter, for years.

Jelani Maraj, has been found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and also endangering the welfare of a child.

**Jelani, will serve 25 years to life in prison. His sentencing will take place on December 14th.

Nicki Minaj, who is Jelani Maraji`s younger sister was supposed to be in the court house, supporting her brother, as she had always done in the past.

Nicki never showed up for her brother`s sentencing, but was expected to be a star witness for her brother, as was reported, by Jelani`s team of lawyers.

Madeline Singas, Nassau County D.A., said:

“We hope that today`s verdict will help the family in the healing process”.

On Monday, October 10th, the girl`s now, 10 year old younger brother, testified that, he had accidentally walked into his sisters room when he was 8 years old in 2015, and saw Jelani Maraj raping his then, 11 year old sister.

He was terrified and understood that what he had witnessed, was wrong – so he ran back to his room.

Maraj, 37, who is a step dad to the children, confronted the little boy and questioned him about what he saw. When the 8 year old answered in the affirmative, Jelani slapped him really hard, across the face.

Maraj, kept on slapping the boy each time he ventured to confirm, he had seen Jelani, having sex with his older sister.

He proceeded to promise the then 8 year old, he would never see his mother again, if the young boy, ever told anyone about what he had witnessed.

The 8 year old boy, acquiesced until October 10th, when the court questioned him, regarding the incident.

The boy also said, after that incident, he would on certain occasions, hear Maraj close his bedroom door, walk into then 11 year old girl`s bedroom (which was right next to the boy`s room) and the 8 year old boy would hear his sister`s bed, start creaking.

In September, prosecutors confirmed a major development in the case. They revealed that, Jelani Maraj`s DNA result matched that of the semen they had found on his now 12 year old, little step daughter`s underwear that he was accused of raping.

Nicki  Minaj has never said a word about her brother`s crime but had posted a message on her instagram account, right after Jelani married the children`s mother – Jacqueline Robinson, in August of 2015.

THE NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL

The American Society of Clinical Oncology, spotlights the link between alcohol and cancer.

In a statement published Tuesday in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the scientists revealed that, even small glasses of alcohol, can raise a woman`s risk of breast cancer and also intensify the chance of having a common type of esophageal cancer.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION RAISES A WOMAN`S RISK OF BREAST CANCER

Alcoholics and heavy drinkers will encounter lot higher risks of mouth and throat cancer, cancer of the voice box, liver cancer and a chance of being diagnosed with colorectal cancers, the scientists warned.

Dr. Noelle LoConte, an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the lead author of the ASCO statement, said:

“The message is not, ‘Don’t drink.’ It’s, ‘If you want to reduce your cancer risk, drink less. And if you don’t drink, don’t start.’” “It’s different than tobacco where we say, ‘Never smoke. Don’t start.’ This is a little more subtle.”

Several medical groups have disclosed the link between alcohol and cancer but this is the first time that ASCO has taken a stand.

Several surveys have stated the fact that, heavy drinking, even among young people  and chronic alcoholism, are steadily on the rise in the United States.

It largely affects all segments of society, with the inclusion of women, young people, racial and ethnic minorities, older adults and the poor.

A recent ASCO survey of 4,016 adults found that, very few adults are able to clearly identify alcohol consumption as a risk factor for cancer, even though the vast majority were familiar with other cancer risk factors, like smoking and sun exposure.

Most adults failed to mention obesity as a risk factor, while less than one in three adults identified alcohol as a risk factor for cancer.

ALCOHOL IS ALSO LINKED TO OBESITY

The group of scientists are advocating a curb on alcohol use, restrictions on advertisements that target minors – such as the new ban on alcohol advertising, on New York buses and subways. This law, will go into effect in January of 2018.

Most of all, they are vehemently against “PINK WASHING”. This is a practice where alcohol companies decorate their products in pink ribbon, in an attempt to drive larger sales.

The scientist strongly oppose this practice, particularly because, they have “documented the consistent evidence that shows the link between alcohol consumption and an increased risk of breast cancer.”

The ASCO doctors have concluded that, 5.5 percent of all new cancers and 5.8 percent of all cancer deaths, worldwide, could be caused by alcohol.

ASCO 2017: ASTRAZENICA`S BREAST CANCER TREATMENT, LEADS THE WAY

For women, just one alcoholic drink a day can increase breast cancer risk, according to a report released in May from the American Institute for Cancer Research and the World Cancer Research Fund that was cited by ASCO.

That report analyzed 119 studies, including data on 12 million women and over a quarter of a million breast cancer cases, and concluded there was strong evidence that alcohol consumption increases the risk of both pre- and postmenopausal cancer, and that drinking a small glass of wine or beer every day — about 10 grams of alcohol — increases premenopausal breast cancer risk by 5 percent and postmenopausal risk by 9 percent.

The chief executive of  ASCO, Dr. Clifford A. Hudis, further cautioned that, “The more you drink, the higher the risk”. “It’s a pretty linear dose-response”.

The centers for disease control, recently stated that, even those who seldom drink alcohol, are categorized as “one daily drink for women and two for men”.

People who do this, face nearly a doubling of the risk for mouth and throat cancer and more than double the risk of squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus, compared to nondrinkers.

Modest alcohol consumers, face will encounter increased risks for cancers of the voice box, female breast cancer and colorectal cancers.

The risk for heavy drinkers — defined as eight or more drinks a week for women and 15 or more a week for men, including binge drinkers — are multiples higher.

Alcoholics face, five times the risk of mouth and throat cancers and squamous cell esophageal cancers than nondrinkers, nearly three times the risk of cancers of the voice box or larynx, double the risk of liver cancer, as well as increased risks for female breast cancer and colorectal cancer.

ASCO 2017 CLINICAL TRIALS FOR LIVER CANCER

 A recent I.A.R.C. report clearly expressed that alcohol “is a cause of cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, esophagus, colorectum, liver and female breast.” (The esophageal cancer is largely specific to squamous cell carcinoma.)

Dr. Gapstur said:

“We don’t have randomized trials, but sometimes when you start looking at the coherence of all the evidence, including the observational epidemiology, the lab studies, the mechanistic studies, you begin to see a picture and get more clarity.”

Dr. Gapstur continued:

‘One way alcohol may lead to cancer is because the body metabolizes it into acetaldehyde, which causes changes and mutations in DNA’.

‘The formation of acetaldehyde starts when alcohol comes in contact with bacteria in the mouth, which may explain the link between alcohol and cancers of the throat, voice box and esophagus”.

A scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Dr. Anne McTiernan who was an author of one of the earlier reports on alcohol and breast cancer, said:

“That puts some weight behind this”. It “shows they’re serious about it and willing to put their name on the line for changes in policy, and willing to say that even small amounts of alcohol can increase the risks of some cancers to a small degree.”

A couple of months ago, the 53 year old talk show host who makes a living disclosing her colleagues and other famous people`s transgressions, suddenly chooses to brush off questions regarding the state of her seemingly , open marriage.

Her husband and business partner, 46 year old Kevin, seems to have no qualms about being seen with Sharina Hudson – his mistress. They go to dinner and do other natural things like going to the gym and working out together.

Four years after their courtship, Wendy married Kevin on November, 30th, 1997. The pair, welcomed their baby, Kevin Jr., into the world in  2000.

A month after their baby was born, Wendy discovered her husband had been cheating on her. She overheard her husband having a very intimate conversation with an unknown woman.

In 2013, Wendy shared this information with VladTV, during an interview. This is what she said:

“When you deliver a baby, the mother doesn’t get much sleep anyway. Little Kev might have been 1 month old, like fresh from the hospital.”

Williams said, her parents were in her home, helping her with their new born grandson. She knew they had overheard the quarrel that ensued between Kevin and Wendy.

In an attempt to clarify what had happened, she said, she had tried to explain why a fight had taken place between her and Kevin.

Certainly not because, she wanted to parlay the details of what Kevin had done, to her parents because, she knew her parents overheard them fighting, and were understandably  furious.

This is how Wendy explained what had occurred:

“I never went to my mother and talked to her about it, I never talked to my father about it. I’m sure my father wanted to punch Kevin out…but this was a problem that was between me and Kevin…They minded their own business and we’ve all healed, it’s not just me who’s healed”.

“My mom and dad played their position [they stayed out of it] and love him like their very own son today. Just love him, respect our union, understand how hard we go for our love, and when they hear passionate talk at our house, they know to mind their own business.”

“And I was like, ‘Wow, OK, so this is how it’s going down’…That was 12 years ago. It has made our marriage—and I know this is cliché, but it’s true—it’s made our marriage stronger. No, I’m not back to the girl I was before him, because when you get stung like that, you never go back to who you were. Only a fool does”.

“But I love Kevin and he loves me, and we addressed it head-on, and it was a mutual decision to reveal this in my 2001 autobiography Wendy’s Got the Heat”.

“If you told me when I was 25 years old, or 30 years old, that I would stay around for a cheater, I would’ve been like, ‘you’s a liar, you are lying, I’ve got way too much to offer a man to stick around for him cheating on me”.

“But I did, and I don’t regret it. I do think it’s a double standard with cheating. I think that you men are just sometimes so neanderthal that you could never put up with your woman cheating, a man putting paws on your meat. But women have got to deal with that fact, many of us, at some point in our lives.”

Wendy continued:

“People will always, for the rest of my life, throw darts at my situation”.

“They will throw—and we explained this to our son—they will throw them at him, they’ve thrown them at me in my entire career, my husband. He knew what he was getting involved with, but it takes a special kind of man to be with a ‘Wendy Williams.'”

Last week, Wendy`s studio audience and viewers watched in horror, when she fainted and fell on the floor.

She came back and explained that, she had passed out because, she was overheated, due to the insulation in her green Halloween costume.

She also fired several members of her staff a couple of weeks ago, when the photographs of her husband Kevin Hunter and his mistress – Sharina Hudson, became public knowledge.

Wendy fired them en masse! Even though, she had said on a visit to the Howard Stern Show that, her staff was the reason why she had a successful show which had been nominated for five Daytime Emmy Awards.

Wendy Williams caught her husband cheating, a month after she gave birth to their son. Apparently, Kevin Hunter does not want to act like Mother Teresa.
