CHRIS BRANDT, 28, CAIT EARNEST, 28 AND CHRIS`S HUSBAND, MATT BRANDT, 38, ARE A THRUPLE
Married couple, Chris and Matt Brandt, decided to explore an open relationship after 8 years together. Chris finally met 28 year old Cait on a 2015 dating app and the trio decided to embark on a Thruple.
They decided to invite Cait Earnest into their marriage, knowing that several problems could possibly begin to creep into their 8 year relationship, should either one of the three decide to change the dynamic of their new relationship which has become a – Thruple.
THEY SHARE THE SAME HOUSEHOLD, THE SAME BED AND THE SAME PETS
The trio all share the same household, sleep in the same bed , share two adorable pets and plan to have children with Cait.
Chris and Cait developed very strong feelings for one another after meeting one another on the dating app, back in 2015. Matt worked that dilemma out with Chris, by suggesting that they invite Cait to join their marriage as a girlfriend to both of them.
Chris explained that Matt had never been in a relationship with a woman.
He said:
“Matthew had never had any experience with women before he’d met me. And before I met Matthew I had dated quite a few girls and quite a few guys”.
“I suggested to Matt, ‘How would you feel about involving a woman in some fashion?”
“At first he was completely opposed to the idea but after a while we talked about it and he warmed up to the idea.”
AFTER EIGHT YEARS OF MARRIAGE, CHRIS HAD A BRILLIANT IDEA: THE INTRODUCTION OF A WOMAN, INTO THEIR UNION
Eventually, all 3 of them, fell madly in loved with one another and their Thruple relationship proceeded full speed. They were so much in love, all 3 of them became inseparable.
THE THRUPLE, CONSTANTLY SHOWERS ONE ANOTHER WITH GIFTS THAT EXPRESS THEIR LOVE
Chris continued:
“I suggested to Matt, ‘How would you feel about involving a woman in some fashion?’At first he was completely opposed to the idea but after a while we talked about it and he warmed up to the idea”.
“The three of us started to spend more and more time together and after about seven or eight months she was staying over five nights a week”.
CHRIS, MATT AND CAIT, ALL PLAN TO HAVE CHILDREN TOGETHER, AT SOME POINT
In light of the decision all three of them have made to stay together. Cait prefers to be quite candid with people concerning the dynamic of their relationship.
Cait said:
“When we meet somebody at a bar I will usually say, ‘Hi, I’m Cait and these are my two boyfriends. People often ask if I’m joking”.
Although things are usually plain sailing, the thruple’s relationship throws up some curve balls too – including ‘bed placing’.
Chris said:
“In regards to bed placing, it does complicate things. Matthew and I used to sleep on opposite sides and then Cait came long.
CAIT ASSERTED HER PRESENCE BY CHANGING THEIR SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
“If I wanted to stay on the same side Cait would have to be in the middle and we found quickly she didn’t like that”.
Cait, for the fist time in her adult life, was suddenly introduced to sex with more than one partner, after she met Matt and Chris.
She said:
“I had never been with two people at the same time before. It’s different strokes for different folks but I would say it’s a pretty fun sex life”.
CHRIS, CAIT AND MATT ARE SO CLOSE, THEY EVEN OPTED TO HAVE THESAME TATOO
Nine months into their relationship with Cait, Matt and Chris tied the knot but they made sure Cait was right there with them.
Matt said:
“Even when we got married Cait officiated the wedding, we wanted to make her the most involved as she possibly could be.”
While Chris and Cait are both bisexual, Matt identifies as homoflexible.
CHRIS AND CAIT ARE BISEXUAL, WHILE MATT BRANDT SAID, HE IS HOMOFLEXIBLE
Matt added:
“I’m homoflexible so I like guys and I’m open, flexible to women – I prefer men.
“I guess I had an awakening after I had a sexual experience with a woman. It is just another body, another soul, a connection that I can have”.
Although the trio is content now, they have all struggled with jealousy at one point in the relationship.
Cait said:
“When we first got together I was struggling with jealousy.
“With having a very strong connection with Chris and sometimes feeling frustrated that I would have to split time with Matt” “But with a lot of that came a lot of insecurity, because I didn’t know where my place was in the relationship”.
Matt disclosed the fact that he was mindlessly jealous of the connection between Cait and Chris, at a certain point in their relationship.
He said: “It was a struggle even for me. The insecure part of me was like, ‘Chris loves me more because he’s been with me longer’, but then he told me ‘I love you just as much as I love Cait, so I was like, ‘I need to come to terms with that’.”
With the three of them in the relationship, no-one in the thruple is ever wanting for attention, but Matt says there’s one particular highlight – the gifts!
MATT EXPLAINED THE INITIAL PROBLEMS THAT PLAGUED THEIR DECISION TO BECOME A THRUPLE
He said: “One of the best things about being in a thruple is that you get more gifts. Holidays, birthdays, we like to celebrate everything!”
Now that they have been living together for two years, the thruple are even discussing future children.
Matt added:
“As far as kids, I think any child would be lucky to have three parents but we have twodogs for now and that’s enough”.
