On Saturday 08/12/17, in Charlottesville, VA., a 32 year old woman was killed by a 20 year old Ku klux klan member. A large group of  white nationalists decided to stage a large rally in Charlottesville, VA., because “We want to take back America” they said.

James Alex Fields Jr., the 20 year old white supremacist, plowed into the crowds of counter protesters with his dodge challenger, killing a 32 year old woman and gravely wounding 19 other people. Mr. Fields has been arrested and charged with second degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding and one count of hit and run. Two police officers, Berke M.M.Bates and H. Jay Cullen, died in a helicopter crash, on their way to the Charlottesville clashes.

Virginia state governor, Terry McAuliffe, said to the Ku klux klan “Shame on you. Go home. Nobody want`s you in this commonwealth”. Meanwhile, president Trump who frequently tweets his messages, waited a while before tweeting a message that declared peace and unity. He did not address the Ku klux klan or white supremacists.

Former Ku klux klan leader, David Duke, disappointed that president Trump had not fully supported Ku klux klan, said, “I would recommend you take a good look in the mirror and remember, it is white Americans who put you in the presidency and not radical leftists”. Trump is yet to respond.

Nazi supporter Michael Van Kotch said, the rally made him feel proud to be white. He continued to strongly state that, he has always held white supremacist views and president Trump`s election had “emboldened” him and the members of his nazi group.

This never get`s old! I was fortunate enough to find a New York father, dutifully, making an effort to teach his young son, how to box and defend himself.

I walked very quietly beside them, since I did not want to disrupt what seemed like a very important lesson and a moment, the young boy and his father obviously seldom share.

The father looked up at me once, but the young boxer was so focused on his lessons, he kept weaving and bobbing through each move, as his father coached him through it.

He looked to be about 6 or 7 years old.  As he tucked his gloved hands under his chin with each measured punch, I wondered if either Floyd Mayweather or Conor McGregor , would stick around, long enough to give this little boy, a fair shot at a title…………….

Queen Elizabeth has decided, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, would succeed her as king and queen-according to Life & Style Magazine.

The queen made this decision knowing that William and Kate’s popularity would bring positive attention, back to the Monarchy.

In years past, there has been ceaseless amounts of negative news, that has affected Buckingham Palace. Most of the negative attention, mostly surrounded, Prince Charles(the queen’s  first son). The 68 year old Prince Charles is understandably disappointed and is currently working through some tension between him and his son, Prince William.

Queen Elizabeth, at 91, has no intention Of abdicating the throne and takes her duties as queen, very seriously, because Edward VIII, Prince Charles`uncle, had abdicated the throne in 1936, in order to be free to marry his lover, American divorcée, Wallis Simpson.

William and Kate will dutifully accept but Kate would rather shy away from the extra scrutiny from the outside world would bring, once they become King and Queen. Kate is fiercely protective of her family and loves being a hands on mother to her 4 year old son, Prince George and his 2 year old sister Princess Charlotte. As such she would rather spend more time being the kind of mother, she knows, her young children should have.

Nevertheless, the palace is excited because, the very fact that the world knows that the queen has chosen Prince William and Kate, will bring the monarchy, an opportunity for a fresh and modern start.

He continued to explain that while he likes both ways of designing, there always should be a difference between Haute Couture and Ready to Wear.

While creating jobs and skills training through fashion, the African Fashion Week In Nigeria, has also provided another avenue for these designers to creatively showcase their wares. As an added bonus, it gives the designers, an opportunity to establish a sustainable living for themselves.

These fashion shows have consistently created a an avenue for Nigeria to effectively compete with the global fashion  scene while leveling an opportunity for tourist attractions and be able to pull in global fashion talent.

In the wake of the August 7^th St. Phillips Catholic church massacre of defenseless parishioners in Amakwa,  Ozubulu, Anambra State, state governor-Chief Willie Obiano has declared war on the gang members who committed the heinous crime.

The governor explained that the killings were carried out by business partners who had been involved in a long feud. He went on to explain that, both gangsters who were non- Nigerian citizens from another African country, had continued their conflict and decided to extend it to Ozubulu.

Chief Obiano who vehemently condemned the killings has vowed to bring the murderers to justice and has declared Amakwa, Ozubulu a crime free zone.

Governor Willie Obiano, continues to assure the people of Ozubulu that, they can continue their daily routine, without any fear of gangsters, thieves, murderers or terrorists, as they   will be protected by the state government.

Apparently, the tide has turned in the R&B singer-Usher Raymond`s STD case.

A few weeks ago, Radar Online, published a report, detailing claims that the singer had paid Maya Fox-Davis  (Usher`s ex-babysitter and celebrity stylist) $1.1 million, after she sued him for exposing her to the Herpes Virus. Since then, it has been revealed that, the court papers, Ms. Fox-Davis originally filed, were accusations that had no merit.

The $2,754 check that was earlier reported as part of a hush hush money, paid to Maya Fox-Davis, has now been debunked by evidence that proves that the check was made out by accounting firm, David Weise & Associates-for Maya`s babysitting services, against his accusers and their legal representation.

On August 8^th, Quantasia Sharpton-a former fan of Mr. Raymond`s, held a press conference with her lawyer-Lisa Bloom. During the press conference, they claimed that Usher Raymond had exposed Ms. Sharpton to the herpes virus, after having sex with her, after meeting him, at one of his concerts.

Attorney Lisa Bloom and her client, Quantasia Sharpton have since admitted that an earlier performed test, had proved that Ms. Sharpton, tested negative for the Herpes Virus.

We are yet to hear from Mr. Usher Raymond and his legal team, regarding, this alleged slander.

Prospective investors can now choose from 27 different industries and products, they will invest in, states the Federal Government.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Okechukwu Enelamah, disclosed this information at the end of the meeting of the FEC (Federal Executive Council) last week. Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, added that, the Creative Industry, will be among the 27.

New York Mayor De Blasio, suggested imposing taxes on New York`s wealthy, in order to fund emergency rail repairs, low-cost bus rides and subway train rides for the poor.

The mayor, who has announced his intent to seek the Democratic nomination for Mayor, revealed his election year pitch to raise $800 million a year for mass transit by placing a 14 percent tax increase on very high income earning, wealthy New York residents.

Residents earning more than $500.000 and married couples, earning over $1 million will be required to shoulder this tax hike. New York Governor Cuomo had originally rejected Mayor De Blasio`s plan to pay for the mayor`s 2014 campaign pledge for his universal Pre- K program, by taxing the wealthy. As a compromise, New York law makers, sent $300 million for the city and $40 million that could be used for programs, elsewhere in the state.

If Mayor De Blasio`s tax proposal is accepted, the state of California and New York State, will go on record as the two states, that impose the highest taxes in the United States.
