In the wake of the August 7th St. Phillips Catholic church massacre of defenseless parishioners in Amakwa, Ozubulu, Anambra State, state governor-Chief Willie Obiano has declared war on the gang members who committed the heinous crime.
The governor explained that the killings were carried out by business partners who had been involved in a long feud. He went on to explain that, both gangsters who were non- Nigerian citizens from another African country, had continued their conflict and decided to extend it to Ozubulu.
Chief Obiano who vehemently condemned the killings has vowed to bring the murderers to justice and has declared Amakwa, Ozubulu a crime free zone.
Governor Willie Obiano, continues to assure the people of Ozubulu that, they can continue their daily routine, without any fear of gangsters, thieves, murderers or terrorists, as they will be protected by the state government.
